Building on the success achieved with the Park East Tower development, Opus has introduced its new residential concept, the Park East Lofts, to St. Louis Central West End. In contrast to the adjacent Park East Tower, the development will offer a low-rise, lofty style product that includes the look and feel of a renovated loft unit, but with all the benefits of new construction. Description : With completion scheduled for May 2008, the Park East Lofts will consist of 52 loft-style residential condominiums and 6,000 square feet of street-level retail space constructed over a four-level parking structure. The project is a public/private partnership with the Treasurers Office of the City of St. Louis, owner of the development site and for which Opus will construct 180 of the projects 250 parking spaces for the operation of a public parking garage to serve the neighborhood. The Park East Loft development, tabbed Where Luxury Meets Lofts will feature units with a high level of finish with high ceilings, generous exterior glass, open floor plans and European style kitchens. Units are sized from 820 to 1,600 square feet, with initial price points from $220,000 to $575,000; over 60% of the units have been sold to-date.
